How we rebuilt the digital presence for Inside Out Security, starting with structure, then local authority, then conversion.
Inside Out Security had existing rankings and traffic. But the numbers were misleading. Most of their visibility came from keywords with no commercial intent. Nobody searching those terms was looking to buy a security system.
The website itself compounded the problem: poor structure, weak internal linking, and no clear hierarchy for Google to follow. The sitemap had no strategic direction. Imagery was dated. The site wasn't giving Google, or customers, a clear reason to trust them.
Issues identified
Before chasing rankings, we fixed the structural problems holding them back. A website with weak foundations will underperform no matter how good the content is. We rebuilt the site properly, then built local authority on top of it.
The shift wasn't just in traffic volume. It was in traffic quality. Rankings improved for the keywords that actually drive enquiries, the Google Business Profile became a consistent lead source, and organic search authority is climbing alongside it. Here's what that looks like straight from Google and Semrush.
