Nivaldo Holmes, better known as Ney, is the Project Manager at New Wave Digital Marketing.
Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Ney moved to Australia in early 2023 and is now based on the Gold Coast. He has worked in digital marketing since 2022, initially as an Account Manager for another agency before joining New Wave in November 2025.
Since joining the team, Ney has worked across more than 100 client accounts and projects, helping coordinate everything from website builds and SEO campaigns to marketing automation.
His strongest areas are website delivery, SEO and automation, but his real strength as a Project Manager is staying calm when things get busy. With multiple clients, deadlines and team members moving at once, Ney is often the person quietly making sure everything keeps heading in the right direction.
He holds a Marketing degree from a university in Brazil and, before moving into digital marketing, worked in health and food quality control.
His favourite part of agency life? No two days are ever the same.

By day, Ney is probably one of the quieter people in the New Wave office. By night, slightly different story.
Ney has been DJing for around five years, specialising in what he describes as "hot and heavy techno."
When he isn't behind the decks, there is a very good chance he's at the gym, generally around four times per week.
His favourite things about living on the Gold Coast are pretty straightforward: the laidback lifestyle, the beaches, and the gym.
